Today at the Auction

I woke up this morning to gray skies and sprinkles and debated whether to go to the auction.

It's an outdoor event and you never know if it's worth the drive when the weather is iffy.

It was definitely worth the trip.

Check out today's finds:

I love this little table because it's made from salvage materials - old porch posts and barn wood.

I loved this federal style mirror but will definitely be updating it a bit.   I'll paint it creamy white and distress it.   I might even pop the mirror out and turn it into a chalkboard.

The gilded mirror will definitely get turned into a fabulous chalkboard.

And my favorite find of the day is this cottage style sideboard!

In fact, I love so much it's temporarily residing in my family room until I can get it up to the barn.

Or not!
Don't you just love the chipped paint and trimwork?
Now, this one I actually found last week in one of my travels.
it's a fabulous 9 foot bakery table with butcher block top and galvanized legs that I found at an old Baltimore bakery that closed its door.
It would be a really cool kitchen island!
