I'd Like to Thank the Academy.............

Photo Courtesy of The Washington Post -
John McDonnell photographer

I'm not an actress
(although I always wanted to be one)

I'm a barn girl
(who feels like she just won an Oscar)

Yesterday's Washington Post feature story on barn shows in Maryland and Virginia,
(two of which I'm a part of),
was nothing short of fabulous!

Thank you so much to everyone that e-mailed, texted, tweeted or called to congratulate us on the amazing press we got!

I'm so blessed to be doing what I love!

And although I may not be walking the red carpet anytime soon,
(barns just aren't conducive to that kind of thing),
I will be sliding open the barn doors at

and
on
February 25th, 26th and 27th

for the barn crawl.

The barns will be loaded with the most amazing collection of antiques, architectural salvage, unique home decor and the coolest industrial style furnishings you've ever seen and I hope to see you there!

Plan to visit all of the barns,
including
the same weekend!

(If you missed the Post article just click here to check it out!)

Thank you!

Getting Some Ink!

- HOT OFF THE PRESS -

So, have you ever heard of

The newspaper that was established in 1877 and ranks in the top four newspapers in North America?

The one with a daily print circulation of almost 600,000, not to mention their online subscribers?

Yeah, that one!

Huge, right?
Imagine what it would be like to be featured in a publication that large!
A dream, right?

Well, definitely a dream come true
for me and my fellow barn girls

I'm so excited
(giddy, over the moon, and thrilled)
to announce
The Barn Show
is getting some press!

is doing a feature article on
Maryland and Virginia barn shows
and we're so lucky to be included in the story with three other unbelievably fabulous barns!

And for me, I'm actually doubly blessed because the other barn I'm part of,
is also included in the story!

(Double exposure!!)

So, pick up a copy of the Post
this Thursday, February 10th
and plan to attend a barn crawl the weekend of February 25th, 26th and 27th.

All of the barns,
Ekster,
Baileywyck Shoppes,
Chartreuse
and
The Barn
will be open for a barn crawl.

What could be more fun than that?

Four fabulous barns full of amazing antiques, architectural salvage, vintage furnishings and accessories!

Seriously, does it get any better than that?
Plan to shop all four barns!

More info coming soon, but in the meantime check out  the other barns:

While I take a moment to compose myself.......

A New Favorite!

If you live in the Annapolis, Baltimore, or Washington, D.C. area you're definitely going to want to add a new shop to your must visit list.

I stopped by today and met Mary Quayle, proprietress of
and fell in love with her shop.
(Oh, and she's also pretty awesome!)

She carries a great mix of industrial, garden, and cottage style decor for your home.

And just my luck (and yours!), she's having a special event this week.
Stop by and tell her The Kramer Angle sent you!
