I'm Moving On

Last weekend's Barn Show was absolutely fantastic - our best show ever!

(Read all about it here)

But now it's time for me to focus on next weekend's sale at Chartreuse and Co.
in Buckeystown, Maryland
and my space at
Wild Rose and Co.
Walkersville, Maryland

So, I'm moving on!

Hitting some auctions, flea markets, and secret sources, to find my inspiration to build my theme on for the month!

Wish me luck!

It's All Coming Together

It was a busy day as Pam, Maria, (and even a couple of barn boys) and I worked at the barn to put the finishing touches on everything for this weekend's sale.

Curious about what we have?

Well, let's see:

Custom lighting
Custom jewelry
Custom pillows
Custom artwork

Sensing a theme?

A few sneak peeks of what I'm talking about:

Like what you see?

The Barn Life

Okay, I'll admit it, I've been a little distracted lately, which explains why I haven't posted in two weeks!

It's not that I haven't had anything to say, it's because I've been so busy concentrating on my two barn shows and the shop at Wild Rose that I've had little time for anything else.

Add in the fact my husband is on a military deployment, my kids have crazy schedules, I have a couple of "real" jobs I have to work every now and then and you can understand why I haven't been around here much!

My Chartreuse show this past weekend was great and now I'll be working with the other barn girls at The Barn Show to put the finishing touches on this weekend's show.

So, if you're in the Mid-Atlantic region you really should think about coming to the show.

It's going to be fabulous!

Gotta run, it's time to get back to the barn!

(I really need a vacation!)

Urban Country

Do you like country but in a more sophisticated way?

Then you're going to love the tables I'm now selling at my barn shows!

Take a look at this beauty:

It's got that whole urban country vibe going on.

The black edge gives it a little more clean-lined look while the salvaged wood gives it warmth.

My friend Tim made it for my barn show last month.
(Yes, it's wonderful to have talented friends!)

He repurposed an old table base, used salvaged wood for the center and new materials for the border.

And guess what?

It sold less than five minutes after I took it out of my van!

Yep, it never even made in in the barn door!

It sold right outside to a woman who walked up to it and promptly fell in love.

(I love when that happens!)

The good news is Tim's been a busy guy - he finished another one and I'm taking it to Chartreuse for this month's sale.

And just wait until you see the one he's working on now!
Think French Country with shades of grey.

Ooh, la, la!
